Vice President, Fundraising Services

Erik has had a working relationship with the Pursuant Agency and Pursuant Fundraising Services since 2002 through his involvement with the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation and Fraternity. 

Erik worked over 9 years with Sigma Nu, including 4 years with the Educational Foundation as Vice President.  He co-managed the first-ever nationally coordinated capital campaign for Sigma Nu, successfully raising $12.1 million in four years. During his time with Sigma Nu, Erik traveled the country and met individually with over 2,500 alumni and secured gifts from over 65% of those alumni met. Erik helped recruit Foundation Board members and volunteers and assisted in volunteer leadership. He was a significant component of the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation’s transformation and success in recent years.

Erik graduated from Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis’ (IUPUI) Fundraising School where he completed the Certificate in Fundraising Management and is affiliated with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and National Planned Giving Council (NPGC).

At Pursuant, Erik works with clients such as:  Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, The Association of Former Students at Texas A&M, Westminster College, Delta Sigma Phi Education Foundation, Sigma Nu Educational Foundation, and many other nonprofit organizations.

A graduate of Duquesne University in Business Administration and Political Science, he has recently relocated to the Dallas area from Pittsburgh, with his wife, Katie. They are avid sports fans who enjoy cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Throughout all of his travels, he has visited every major league baseball stadium in the country.
