Direct Marketing Analyst

The Direct Marketing Analyst is accountable for the successful tracking, delivery, and reporting of multi-channel direct response programs for Pursuant’s clients. In this role, you will ensure campaign reporting and analysis are delivered with excellence and contribute to the fundraising effectiveness of the clients we serve. You will be responsible to provide support to the best in class execution of integrated direct response campaign analytics. You will work collaboratively across Pursuant to contribute to a culture of data-driven decision making through an application of quantitative expertise in the formulation and resolution of key questions to help the strategy teams. The Direct Marketing Analyst reports into the VP Analytics.

You are able to communicate the results effectively to varying audiences. You bring an objective voice to the discussions because you represent the data. You have an eye towards developing/building reports.


  • Bachelor's degree and/or related experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Business Intelligence and Marketing campaigns reporting – preferably with a focus on direct response campaign reporting especially direct mail
  • 1+ years’ experience in digital campaign reporting – preferably Google Analytics
  • Experience with a visualization tool like Tableau is preferred.
  • Industry focus in nonprofit desired
  • Understanding of data architecture and experience in SQL programming is a plus
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple efforts under defined timelines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both data and non-data team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Skills in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to adhere to work plans and track assignments with minimal guidance
