We are so excited for you join us at this year’s Converge Conference being held at the breathtaking St. Regis Hotel in Deer Valley, Utah with some of the sharpest minds in fundraising.

In order to make preparing for your upcoming visit as enjoyable and worry-free as possible, we have answered a few frequently asked questions here for you.

Will there be shuttle service to and from the Salt Lake City Airport?

Taxis and rideshares are always an option.  Feel free to check the airport website for additional information on ground transportation.  Here is one option for ground transportation service:

If I choose to drive as my method of ground transportation, are there directions to the hotel?

Via Upper Resort (registered hotel guests only):

THIS TAKES GUEST DIRECTLY TO THE MAIN LOBBY – please do not use GPS / Google Maps / Mapquest – you will be routed to lower resort using those methods.

If you go through a gate without speaking to someone, you have gone the wrong way.

**The hotel is situated in a gated community, private road with a gatehouse.  When you arrive at the gatehouse, please state your name. The gatehouse will have a list of all registered and incoming guests.  During non-business hours there is a call button.

From I-80 East:

• Take Exit #146, Heber/Vernal/US-40 East
• Merge onto Heber City/US-40 East
• Take Exit #8 – Mayflower Exit
• Turn right at exit
• Turn Right again – heading towards Deer Crest
• Continue straight until you reach the Deer Crest Gatehouse. State your name to confirm that you are a guest at the hotel.
• Once through gate, continue to go straight and then at the stop sign, turn left to Deer Crest Estates Drive
• Hotel will be on the right…proceed to circular drive.

Where do I go once I arrive at the hotel?

Please go to the front desk to check in and receive your room keys. Then join us Sunday night for sunset cocktails and dinner at 5:30 PM in the Deer Crest Club.

Where will the meetings take place?

We are excited to hold our conference in the hotel’s Astor ballroom.  Breakfast will be served both mornings at 7:30 am outside the ballroom in their pre-function space.  Sessions will start at 8:30 am in the Astor ballroom. Lunch will be served on the hotel’s Astor Terrace weather permitting.  A map will be provided at check-in.

How should I dress for the event?

We encourage a comfortable, collaborative environment. For the sessions, please dress in business casual attire. For our evenings together, we’ll experience the autumn mountain weather!  Monday evening we’ll enjoy a lovely evening at the hotel’s Mountainview Terrace; there will be heaters in the space, but just to be safe, we suggest having a jacket on hand.  Expect temperatures to range from the 60s during the day to the 40s at night.

I have dietary restrictions. With whom should I communicate this information?

We will accommodate any dietary restrictions as instructed by our guests. Please outline your restrictions in an email to Kelli Hlavenka at kelli@pursuant.com no later than Monday, October 3rd.

Are spouses welcome at the conference sessions, happy hour, or dinner?

Yes. Your spouse is welcome to join us for any of the conference events. If he or she is planning on attending dinner on Monday night, please inform Kelli Hlavenka at kelli@pursuant.com no later than Monday, October 3rd. We want to ensure that we have a seat reserved next to you. In the event that your spouse isn’t interested in attending the conference sessions, your registration packet will include a list of activities the St. Regis recommends for on- and off-site exploration.

Will there be an on-site concierge?

Your comfort during the event is our top priority. The resort does offer concierge services through the hotel. In addition, Pursuant will also have a dedicated team of staff members to offer assistance should you need anything further during your stay.
