#GivingTuesday may only be a couple of years old but it has already become one of the most significant giving days of the year for many nonprofit organizations. In 2012, 2500 nonprofits took part in #GivingTuesday. In 2013 that number leaped to 10,000. Overall, nonprofit organizations saw a 90% increase in donations from the first #GivingTuesday, according to Blackbaud.

For most of our clients at Pursuant, #GivingTuesday represents the second highest single giving day of the month right behind December 31. While #GivingTuesday is less than 2 weeks away, we wanted to share a few last minute tips to help your organization prepare.
