With more than a decade of experience working in nonprofit strategy and development for diverse nonprofit organizations, Whitney has developed an aptitude to identify and understand the unique strengths and opportunities each nonprofit organizations may possess. As the Director of Client Solutions, she engages new potential partners, builds and maintains lasting relationships, and provides appropriate solutions for those organizations to grow to full potential.
Prior to joining Pursuant, Whitney supported the National fundraising and training efforts of the March of Dimes Foundation. As National Director of Philanthropy, Whitney worked directly with major markets across the country to train local staff and volunteers on fundraising best practices pertaining to events, corporate partnerships, individual giving, donor cultivation and stewardship, in addition to providing partnership in identifying prospects and securing major gifts.
Why do you do what you do?
I have a deep passion for understanding the needs of an organization and for building meaningful relationships with individuals to meet those needs. I love connecting with organizational leaders who embrace a culture of collaboration and innovative thinking and working together to identify new ways to reach donors in meaningful ways that ultimately further their mission impact.
When I’m not Fundraising, I'm usually…
Enjoying the great outdoors with my husband, two wild boys, and two large fur babies. We spend our time hiking, camping, snowboarding, and playing on the lake. I am a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur – or at least I drink a lot of it – and a major foodie, always looking for a strange and tasty new establishment to visit with my family.
