Why we started
We believe that giving makes us most human. That when you give your time or resources to others, you move from the “I” to the “We”. That the act of giving transforms the giver as much as the receiver. But we started to notice that the giving experience was getting worse and worse and technology wasn’t helping, quite the opposite. Increasingly we saw our nonprofit colleagues and supporters becoming unhappy.
So, in 2001, we started a company with a simple idea: could we harness the power of people + technology to make the giving experience more human? We’ve dedicated the past two decades to help people find, engage and give to the organizations whose purpose they are passionate about.
And we’re just getting started. Why? Because we believe everyone deserves to feel the joy of giving.
